Teaming up with Bryan/College Station, Texas Home Builders
That’s the only way we can describe how we felt on our most recent visit to College Station, Texas. There, we entered our first stage of collaboration with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to build a Dream Home Showplace.
Not only did we connect with St. Jude on our trip, we met and planned with the two builders for the Dream Home Showplace: Magruder Homes and Pitman Custom Homes. As two of the biggest builders in Bryan/College Station, we are certain this home is going to be unbelievable!
Owners Tyan and John Magruder are a husband and wife team, with Tyan focusing on the design of homes, and John overseeing construction and administration. With more than ten years of experience, Magruder Homes has completed over 250 projects in the area. Working with some of the most knowledgeable subcontractors in Bryan/College Station, Magruder Homes produces quality work that people are proud to call home.
Pitman Custom Homes
Jimmy Pitman is a third generation builder in Bryan/College Station. Together with his wife, Courtney, Jimmy works to exceed all expectations when building your home. Since 2011, Pitman Custom Homes has built over 150 homes in Bryan/College Station. Starting his work in the construction business with his father, Jimmy learned the importance of committing to excellence and construction at an early age, and continues that tradition today.
Together, we can do so much.
We are honored to be a part of building a Dream Home Showplace – a process that requires teamwork on all ends. Along with St. Jude, we are collaborating with both builders to bring you voting opportunities two times per month. You, in turn, are making choices on what will be installed in the home. Magruder Homes and Pitman Custom Homes are working together to design and construct the home. In addition, both builders are reaching out to companies to sponsor all materials needed and are providing labor, so that the Dream Home Showplace can be 100% donated. This ensures all proceeds go directly to where it is needed – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
